Environmental Sustainability, Greater Accessibility to STEM Education, and Youth Leadership Empowerment
Project Aquascope was born out of an after-school program at our high school called Envision Conservatory for the Humanities (ECH). While our project is ultimately about STEM (in particular environmental science) rather than the humanities, study of the humanities in this program has been integral in guiding our approach to making an impact.
In ECH we study civics, ethics, and philosophy--all of which play a unique role in how we have built our organization. Our study of civics has informed us on how to engage with our community (locally and globally). Our study of ethics and philosophy have informed us in our creation of Project Aquascope's values as well as the WHY to our project: to help our environment, to educate, and to inspire people to be the best versions of themselves.
